Quick Summary » Reviews are important, below we outline a basic, as well as an advanced method for crafting an email that allows customers to leave a review in one click. We also outline how to save this template to send it repeatedly in matter of seconds.
Ever since we implemented this for Team Wash Life our review count exploded. This is applicable for any industry but especially important for pressure washers where competition is high and ratings land jobs.
The Simple Easy Method (10 minutes)
Step 1: Create a New email
This is no different than sending a regular old email.
Step 2: Find your Google Review Link
- Go to your Google My Business dashboard: https://www.google.com/business/
- Click on “Get more reviews” in the “Home” tab.
- A pop-up window will appear with your review link. Copy the link and share it with your customers.
Don’t see the “Get More Reviews” Button?
It might be because you haven’t verified your business yet. You need to verify your business to enable the review feature. To verify your business, follow the steps in the Google My Business verification process.
Step 3: Write a quick personal message (outline below):
See our outline below, feel free to copy and use it. Make sure to replace all the bracketed sections with the required information. Feel free to give it your own personal touch!

The Advanced Branded Route (~ 1 Hour)
Now if you want to go the more professional route and you don’t like the generic email method outlined above you can take it a step further to make this email on brand and more professional.
Step 1: Head over to Stripo!
Click the banner below (this is an affiliate link, however no credit card is required, use the free trial!) and head over to Stripo, a great no-code email layout builder that gives you 4 free exports to gmail a month! We use this for all of our manual emails!
Step 2: Design your Email template using their builder!
Best to use your brand colors and include your logo in the design
Step 3: Create a Review Button
Insert a button into your design and paste your Google Review link into the destination.
Step 4: Export to Gmail
After you are done designing, click the “Export” button. It will create an email in your “Drafts” folder in Gmail.
Note: Gmail is the only provider that works with Stripo’s free trial. You will need to upgrade if you are using other mail providers. However their plans are very affordable and well worth the price to maintain brand cohesion.
